Man’amko Can Surf is a good-hearted, not for profit program developed by GuamWEBZ, that introduces senior citizens, our Man’amko, to basic computing and Internet skills as well as more advanced skills such as electronic mail, by giving them free access and training to computers and the internet, in the hopes of empowering them to be able to surf the internet independently. This will open a whole new world for our Man’amko.

How it Works
With the help of local mayors in each village, starting with the Tamuning-Tumon-Harmon Mayors Office as our kick-off pilot program, The Man’amko Can Surf program utilizes the senior citizen community centers as their base of operation. The program provides a comfortable computer setting for the elderly. The program is totally free and open to all senior citizens who are interested in learning to use the internet. Computers are provided by a local vendor, as well as other assistive supplies and equipments. Training and educational materials are provided by GuamWEBZ. The program’s target date is the 3rd week of February, 2012.
