Quality, functional, and user-friendly websites which adhere to good social values. That’s our promise.

GuamWEBZ follows two key principles in keeping with Best Practices:

1."Fit for purpose" (the product should be suitable for the intended purpose)

2. "Right first time" (mistakes should be eliminated).

GuamWEBZ realizes that quality is determined by the intended users, clients or customers, not by society in general: it is not the same as "expensive" or "high quality". To us, Best Practice is more than just testing the quality of aspects of a product, service or facility, it makes us analyze the quality to make sure it conforms to specific requirements and comply with website goals.

Best Practice means crossing the "t" and dotting the "i"; looking out for little things that enhance a website visitors experience while on your website. Little things such as these:

  • Having "footer links" in case your flash does not open the flash based menu.  (See our website’s links on the bottom of the page.)
  • Having easy to use back links, so you can navigate from one page to another easily.
  • Naming the browser title bar correctly, so you know what you are viewing.
  • Making sure each page title is obvious so you know what page you are on.
  • Underlining or color coding links, so you know they are links, and can be clicked.
  • Making the logo in the header clickable and linking it to the "home page"

As part of best practices for the web, we strongly believe and promote Web Safety, A Stop to Cyberbullying, Helping Elders to grasp the internet, and a true commitment to Ethical Website Standards.

It is important for us to note that we never launch a website with out conducting the proper launch-tests and what we call Netnostics, where by we check and double check all the elements of website to see if they conform to compliant usability standards.

This website we built is a fine example of Best Practices being practiced:
